How can I be sure that the products I’m hiring are in good condition?

All of our products are cleaned after every hire and are meticulously maintained. We encourage our customers to visit our showroom and see the products first hand. We understand that quotes can vary from hirer to hirer but so can the products. Make it a point when comparing your quotes to visit the hirers’ yard and inspect the products.

What condition are your marquees in?

We take great pride in all of our marquees, every marquee is cleaned after each hire ensuring your have a top quality clean marquee for your event.

Are marquees suitable for winter events?

Decked out appropriately marquees make ideal venues for Weddings, Corporate Dinners and Birthday parties. Powerful heaters ensure warmth, and hard flooring, while more expensive than traditional grass matting, protects the existing grass and your feet from any moisture. So you can capture the beauty and convenience of a marquee event even in winter.

Do we need heaters and are they warm enough?

In the winter months heaters are usually necessary. The decision can be made in the week leading up to your party when you have seen the weather forecast but remember it’s always due to availability. Heater technology has advanced substantially in recent years, so a marquee even in the depths of winter will be surprisingly warm.

How long is your marquee hire period?

For weekend events, the marquee is yours for both Saturday and Sunday. During the week, the length of the marquee hire is by arrangement.

Can marquees be opened in warm weather?

Yes. The walls of our marquees can very easily be opened up or removed. We can demonstrate how to do this on installation so that the decision can be left to the day.

What is the difference between lined and unlined marquees?

Lined marquees are more luxurious and are an essential element of a traditional wedding-style marquee. With unlined marquees, the marquee structure is fully visible, making them more suitable for functional or casual events.

Can I make last minute changes to my marquee?

Within reason yes. Requests for extra furniture, different flooring etc made early in the week leading up to the marquee hire or before can easily be accommodated depending on availability. A longer marquee may also be possible, again depending on availability.

Do you deliver?

Yes and charges are determined by Suburb.

When will you erect and dismantle my marquee?

For a weekend event we erect marquees on the Thursday or Friday before an event; and we dismantle them on the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. If you have a special requirement, please let us know and we will try our best to help you.

Can the marquee be connected to a building?

Yes. Our marquees can serve as an 'extension' to a building if the space is suitable. Covered walkways are another option.

Could a marquee damage cables or pipes running underneath the site?

If cabling or pipe work is near the surface, damage is possible. So please advise us if any water mains or electrical cabling are close to the ground.

Will your marquees damage our garden?

We are always very careful not to damage plants and options such as raised flooring can both protect your lawn and your feet.

I have hired chairs before and they have been scuffed, what are yours like?

Our white garden chairs (which show marks more easily than other colors) are hired to you clean and as new.

How long before my party do I need to book?

To avoid disappointment, we suggest you book your equipment as soon as you know what you would like.

I have noticed that there are no Marquee prices on your website. Why is that?

Marquees and Structures are the two items that need certain information before a price can be quoted. Once our staff knows where the event is to be held, what surface the marquee is going on and the best size for the function, a quote can be generated. We are also able to do an obligation free site inspection if necessary.
